President's Message
It is my absolute honour to take over as the President of Confederation of Indian MSME in ESDM and IT (CIMEI), an association formed by the Electronics and Semiconductor Segment leaders to support the MSMEs in the Electronics System Design & Manufacturing (ESDM) and IT. Our mission is clear and unwavering: to champion the growth of MSMEs and position them as key contributors to India’s economic expansion.
MSMEs are the driving force behind innovation and progress in our country with around 30% contribution to GDP and around 40% contribution to exports. The MSME Sector is expected to grow to $1Tn economy by 2028. We recognize their immense potential and are dedicated to providing the necessary support for their success. Our efforts will focus on empowering MSMEs to seize greater opportunities and seamlessly integrate into the narrative of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
One of our core objectives is to ensure that our voices are heard in the right forums. We will actively advocate for our interests, ensuring that our insights and inputs are considered in policy-making and industry developments. The experiences and perspectives that we get from each one of us are crucial to shaping a conducive environment for business growth and innovation.
